COSATT (Covert, Overt Sensors And Transmission Technologies) was established in 2000 by Alan Holford-Walker and Anne Penton. Alan Holford-Walker's background is Army, Defence Sales and for the last 20 years he has run his own business Barrington International, dealing with the military, police and NHS. Anne Penton worked with Microsoft in Product Support Services for 8 years and has worked in Barrington International and then COSATT since 1996.

COSATT's mission is to develop sensor systems that will create a safe environment for people retained in custody and for those responsible for the custodial system. We aim to extend the range to other sensor systems based on the same technology whether they be for military, police or civilian use.

We are also working on medical applications of the technology in conjunction with Laerdal AS.

Barrington International, formed in 1989 is a suitable adjunct to COSATT, we supply safety products for use in the custodial environment and NHS Mental Health Trusts.
