COSATT (Covert Overt Sensors And Transmission Technologies) was established in 2000 by the MD, Alan Holford-Walker.
Alan's background is Army (Cavalry) and Defence Sales as Royal Ordnance's Marketing Manager (ASEAN). For over 20 years since leaving Royal Ordnance he has also run his another business, Barrington International, dealing with the military, police and NHS. Alan has also recently established a new company, Secur-E-State Ltd, to provide CCTV and security systems for estates, farms, stables and the like.
OUR MISSION:
To develop sensor systems that will create a safe environment for people detained in custody and integrated monitoring systems for those responsible for custody.
OUR AIM:
To extend the range to other sensor systems based on the same technology whether they be for military, police or civilian use.
We are also working on medical applications of the technology in conjunction with Laerdal AS. The "BedAlert" is currently undergoing clinical trials at Queen Alexandra's Hospital in Portsmouth.
Barrington International, formed in 1989, is a suitable adjunct to COSATT. The business supplies safety products for use in the custodial environment and NHS Mental Health Trusts.
"These companies are supporting the increasing importance of creating a safe environment, in the current climate of Duty of Care obligations and Humans Rights legislation, for those at risk and for those whose job it is to care for them . We will build on this experience to bring our expertise and experience to other requirements."
Alan Holford-Walker, Managing Director, COSATT & Barrington International.
